Our audit team consists of specialists who will learn your business. They are alert to control weaknesses and other areas of significant risk including fraud risk indicators. We can assist privately held companies. We can also address the needs of companies in compliance with OMB Circular No. A-133. We perform compilation and review services as governed by the Statements on Standards for Accounting and Review Services (SSARS).
We not only render opinions in accordance with statutory requirements and in compliance with relevant regulations and agreements; we also provide a broad range of assurance services that address the reliability of information and the effectiveness and efficiency of controls. We provide meaningful recommendations for improvement of operations and internal controls with the intent of enhancing profitability and generating savings.
Depending on your specific needs, we offer four levels of financial statement assurance:
- An audit will provide the highest level of financial assurance, as it requires outside confirmation of information and testing of transactions.
- A review will provide limited financial assurance, as it includes analytical procedures and inquiries as well as industry-wide comparisons.
- A compilation consists of compiling your financial information into a financial statement format. Verifications, offers of assurance and opinions on the information contained in the financial statements are not performed.
- An agreed upon procedure will look at specific pieces of your financial statement or control system. This is usually the result of a request made by a bank, funding source or a board of directors to gather specific information on a particular aspect of your business.
